  • Baby has unusual movement patterns (like cramps or jerky movements) on a specialized test
  • Baby's brain scan (MRI or ultrasound) is abnormal, as confirmed by a neurologist

  • Baby does not have a genetic syndrome or birth defect
  • The family can commit to regular visits and therapy
