Who can take part
- Your baby must be in a CP risk group detected early (either newborn risks or risks noticed during infancy).
- If newborn-risk: you were told there was a significant brain injury or major newborn complications (for example certain types of brain bleeding or stroke), and you or the doctors are concerned.
- If infant-risk (around 9 months): your baby cannot sit independently, or has clear asymmetry (for example one side works differently), or cannot bear weight through the soles of the feet.
- You must have parental concern and at least one of the specific medical/behavior factors above.
- Your baby should not have a progressive or neurodegenerative/genetic condition that causes other ongoing neurological decline, and should not have other main diagnoses like Down syndrome.
