Who can take part
- You have liver cancer (HCC) that has spread into the portal vein (the main blood vessel to the liver), but not into the main branch.
- Your liver is mostly working well (Child-Pugh A or ALBI score 1 or 2), and you have no significant fluid buildup or confusion from liver disease.
- You have not had immunotherapy for any cancer before, and you have not had radiation therapy to the liver.
- You are not taking high doses of steroids (more than 10 mg of prednisone daily) and have no active autoimmune disease.
- Your blood counts and kidney function are within acceptable ranges, and you are willing to use effective birth control during and after treatment.
