Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You had a stroke of any kind less than 3 months ago
  • You have mild to moderate problems with memory, attention, or other thinking skills after the stroke
  • You score lower than 24 on the MoCA test (a short thinking skills quiz)
  • You can see well enough to use a VR headset without glasses that don't fit
  • You do not have severe aphasia (trouble understanding or speaking that prevents taking the MoCA test)
  • You do not have severe mental health conditions (like psychosis or feeling disconnected from reality)
  • You have enough arm strength and trunk control to use a VR system
