Who can take part
- You have liver cancer that cannot be removed by surgery
- You are 18 years or older
- Your liver cancer is at stage B or C according to the Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer system
- You have good liver function (Child-Pugh score A)
- Your blood counts and kidney function are within certain limits
- You have not had certain prior treatments like radiation to the liver or yttrium-90 therapy
- You do not have untreated hepatitis B or C, severe ascites, or untreated varices
- You do not have a serious heart condition, bleeding disorder, or active infection
