Who can take part
- You are 18 or older with a diagnosis of oral lichen planus.
- Your oral lichen planus is moderate to severe (score of 3 or more on a doctor's scale).
- You have not taken systemic corticosteroids (like prednisone pills) in the last 4 weeks.
- You have not used immune-suppressing drugs (like azathioprine or cyclosporine) in the last month.
- You do not have a history of certain cancers, serious infections, or organ problems.
- You are willing to use effective birth control if you could become pregnant.
