Who can take part
- You have pancreatic cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or is borderline removable, or you cannot have surgery for medical reasons.
- You will receive chemotherapy before radiation therapy.
- You have not had radiation therapy to the same area before.
- You are in generally good health with a Karnofsky score above 70, meaning you can care for yourself and do daily activities.
- Your blood counts and kidney function are within certain limits (white blood cells, platelets, hemoglobin, and creatinine).
