Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You have had low back pain for more than 3 months, and the pain is not caused by a specific condition like a herniated disc or spinal stenosis
- You have not had back surgery, a broken back bone, or scar tissue in your lower back area
- You do not have a disease that affects muscle stiffness, such as multiple sclerosis or a connective tissue disorder
- You are not pregnant, do not have cancer, severe high blood pressure, or a bleeding disorder
