Who can take part

  • You are between 28 days and 3 months old, or at least 12 years old
  • You are having surgery with gas anesthesia (not intravenous anesthesia)
  • Your surgery does not need a muscle relaxant drug
  • You do not have a history of nerve or muscle disease
  • Your arm and hand can be used for the monitoring device
