Who can take part
- You have been diagnosed with chronic blood clots in the lung arteries (CTEPH) or a rare tumor in the lung artery (pulmonary artery sarcoma).
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You are scheduled for or have already had a surgery called pulmonary endarterectomy, which uses a heart-lung machine and deep cooling to stop blood flow briefly.
- Your medical records must include complete information from before, during, and after surgery, including kidney function tests.
- You have kidney function test results available 3 months after surgery.
