Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 85 years old.
- You have chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) or pulmonary artery sarcoma.
- You are scheduled for or have had a surgery called pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA) to remove blood clots or tumors from the lung arteries.
- The surgery used a heart-lung machine and a technique that temporarily stops blood flow to the brain.
- You do not need regular dialysis before the surgery.
- You can provide your medical records and have a kidney function test about 3 months after surgery.
