Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer (locally advanced or spread to other parts of the body).
  • You have already tried at least one prior chemotherapy (including gemcitabine and/or fluorouracil) that didn't work or stopped working.
  • You have at least one tumor that can be measured on a scan.
  • You are generally able to get out of bed and take care of yourself for at least half the day.
  • You are not pregnant and agree to use effective birth control during treatment and for 6 months after.
