  • You are between 50 and 90 years old
  • You have osteoarthritis in your knee and are having a first-time total knee replacement
  • You are healthy enough for surgery (ASA class I, II, or III)
  • You are not severely obese (BMI over 40)
  • You do not have significant liver disease, a cognitive disorder, or certain drug interactions
