Bed scale weight loss program for wheelchair users

This study tests if using a special bed scale helps wheelchair users lose more weight during a weight loss program. Participants will follow a weight loss plan, and half will get the bed scale to track their weight at home.

  • You are 18 or older
  • You live within about 75 miles of Pittsburgh
  • You use a wheelchair as your main way to get around
  • You transfer in and out of bed most nights
  • You are overweight or obese and want to lose weight
  • You own a smartphone and have reliable internet and wifi
