Who can take part

  • We are looking for adults who had one stroke between 3 and 12 months ago
  • You need to be able to move your wrist or fingers at least 10 degrees, and lift your shoulder blade against gravity
  • You should be able to follow instructions and do exercises for an hour, possibly with caregiver help
  • You cannot have other neurological conditions besides stroke
  • Pain in your affected arm must be mild (7 or less on a 0-10 scale), and you must not have severe muscle tightness or vision problems that prevent exercise
