Who can take part

  • You have had a stroke (confirmed by a doctor and brain scan)
  • Your affected arm has some stiffness (known as spasticity) but not too severe (score up to 3 on the Ashworth scale)
  • You are between 20 and 60 years old
  • You have not had botulinum toxin or phenol injections for stiffness in the last 5 months
  • You are not taking muscle relaxant medications
  • You can communicate clearly and see well enough to view a screen
