Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You have been diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome (heart attack or unstable angina).
- You arrived at the hospital within 24 hours of your symptoms starting.
- You do not have an active infection, chronic inflammatory disease, blood disorder, or cancer.
- You do not have severe liver or kidney failure, and have not had recent major surgery or injury in the past month.
