Who can take part

  • You have cancer that requires treatment with 5-FU or capecitabine (either after surgery or for advanced disease).
  • You have had a blood test for DPYD gene changes from a certified lab before starting chemo.
  • Your DPYD test shows one specific variant (change) in one copy of the gene, or a normal result.
  • You are able to perform daily activities with minimal help (ECOG score 0-2).
  • You are not pregnant, not a child, and your doctor agrees the treatment is safe for you.
