This trial tests whether mental imagery tasks can trigger or worsen headaches and dizziness in people with long-lasting symptoms after a mild traumatic brain injury or concussion. If you still have headaches or dizziness more than 3 months after your injury, this study may help understand how your brain reacts to mental exercises.

Who can take part

  • You are a current or former patient of Reut Rehabilitation Hospital within the last 12 months.
  • You were diagnosed with a mild traumatic brain injury, concussion, blast injury, or whiplash injury.
  • It has been more than 3 months since the injury.
  • You have headaches and/or dizziness that started after the injury and have not gone away completely.
  • Your headaches are at least a 3 out of 10 on a pain scale (where 0 is no pain and 10 is the worst pain).
  • You are not currently taking a vestibular-suppressant medication like Cinnarizine, or you are willing to stop it 24 hours before testing.
