Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You are admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU)
  • You are receiving a specific type of continuous kidney replacement therapy (CVVH, CVVHD, or CVVHDF) for kidney failure
  • You have a known or suspected infection that is treated with piperacillin-tazobactam, given as a continuous infusion
  • You are prescribed both the antibiotic and the kidney replacement therapy at the same time
  • You are covered by health insurance and can agree to take part (or a family member can agree for you if you are too ill)
