Who can take part
- You are 70 years old or older
- You take Apixaban or Rivaroxaban (also called Eliquis or Xarelto) to prevent blood clots
- You have had a bleeding event serious enough to need hospital care (if you are a 'case' in the study)
- You have NOT had a serious bleeding event while on these medications (if you are a 'control' in the study)
- You do not have a pacemaker or implantable defibrillator
- You are able to lie flat on your back for a short measurement
