Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are getting or can get all your nutrition through a tube into your stomach.
  • Your ICU stay is expected to be at least 48 hours.
  • You need or will need a breathing machine within 48 hours of coming to the ICU.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You have not been readmitted to the ICU in the last 14 days.
  • You do not have burn injuries.
