  • You are 18 years old or older.
  • You will need feeding through a tube for at least 7 days.
  • You are in the ICU on a breathing machine.
  • You are starting tube feeding for the first time in the ICU.
  • You will get the feeding through a tube placed in your nose or mouth that goes to your stomach.
