  • You had a stroke that affected only one side of your brain.
  • Your stroke happened more than 6 months ago.
  • You can stand up by yourself without help.
  • Your age is between 45 and 60 years old.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or lower.
  • You have some tightness in your ankle muscles on the affected side.
