Who can take part

  • You are under 18 years old
  • You are admitted to a specific post-ICU care unit in the Czech Republic within the last 12 months
  • You are not expected to have trouble being weaned off the breathing machine
  • You are not in palliative care or expected to live less than 3 months
  • You do not have advanced cancer
  • You do not have a history of chronic kidney or liver disease
  • Your creatinine level on admission is not above normal
  • You agree to sign a consent form to participate
