- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have rectal cancer that has come back in the pelvis, and it can be seen on an MRI or CT scan.
- You have 5 or fewer spots of cancer outside the pelvis, and they are in 3 or fewer organs.
- You have not had radiation therapy in the last 6 months.
- You have previously tried oxaliplatin (a chemo drug) and it stopped working or caused serious side effects.
