Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have given consent.
  • You had a stem cell transplant using bone marrow or stem cells from blood (not cord blood).
  • You have not been on steroids for graft-versus-host disease for more than 2 days.
  • You have moderate to severe acute graft-versus-host disease (as diagnosed by your doctor).
  • You are able to swallow pills and can follow study visits.
  • You have not had more than one stem cell transplant, and do not have uncontrolled infections or other serious medical conditions.
