Who can take part

  • You must have diamond blackfan anemia with a known gene change (mutation).
  • You must be between 3 and 30 years old and weigh at least 22 pounds.
  • You must have needed red blood cell transfusions regularly for at least 6 months.
  • You must be enrolled in the diamond blackfan anemia registry of north america.
  • You must be in reasonably good health (performance score 70% or higher).
