Who can take part

  • You are 12 years or older and weigh at least 66 pounds (30 kg).
  • You have active lung TB that is resistant to at least rifampin (one of the main TB drugs).
  • You have been diagnosed with diabetes (type 1 or type 2).
  • Women who can become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test and use effective birth control during the study plus 3 months after. Men must use condoms or other effective contraception for their partners.
  • You must agree to an HIV test; if positive, you will take HIV medicines.
  • You have not already taken bedaquiline or delamanid (other TB drugs) for more than 28 days.
