Who can take part

  • You have signs of high pressure in the brain such as headaches, ringing in the ears, blurry vision, or swelling of the optic nerve.
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 30 or higher.
  • You are between 18 and 60 years old.
  • You have some swelling of the optic nerve in one or both eyes.
  • You are willing to use reliable birth control if you could become pregnant.
  • You have not had weight loss surgery, certain thyroid or pancreas problems, or a history of gallbladder disease.
