Who can take part
- You are between 20 and 80 years old
- This is your first stroke, and it happened between 1 week and 1 year ago
- You can walk 10 meters (about 33 feet) with or without a cane or walker
- Your foot on the affected side drops down when you swing it forward while walking
- You have some muscle spasticity (tightness) in your ankle, but not severe
- You can follow simple instructions
