Who can take part

  • Your child has a congenital heart disease (a heart problem they were born with).
  • Your child had surgery using a heart-lung machine (cardiopulmonary bypass).
  • Your child is not on ECMO or a heart pump (VAD).
  • Your child was not born before 36 weeks of pregnancy.
  • Your child does not have chronic lung disease or severe underdeveloped lungs.
  • Your child’s breathing tube has no large air leaks (more than 15%).
