Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 84 years old.
  • You are generally healthy or have a stable medical condition (no uncontrolled diabetes or weak immune system).
  • You have a back tooth (premolar or molar) that is still alive (no root canal) and has a moderate-sized cavity that can be fixed with an onlay.
  • Your gums are healthy — no deep pockets, bleeding, or loose teeth.
  • You do not grind or clench your teeth, and you are willing to come back for checkups over 18 months.
