Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old.
  • You speak German or English.
  • You have a recent lateral ankle sprain (4-16 weeks ago) OR an Achilles tendon rupture that happened 6-24 months ago (treated with or without surgery).
  • You do NOT have chronic ankle instability (feeling like your ankle gives way often, with at least one sprain in the last 6 months).
  • You have NOT had a previous Achilles tendon rupture or a lower leg injury or surgery in the last year.
  • You do NOT have nerve, balance, or vision problems that affect walking or movement.
