Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You had a stroke caused by a blood clot (ischaemic stroke)
- It has been less than 36 hours since your stroke symptoms started
- You cannot stand or walk without help
- Your doctor has ruled out bleeding in the brain with a CT or MRI scan
- You do not have any medical reason preventing use of the device (like nerve stimulation or leg compression issues)
