Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You had a stroke caused by a blood clot (ischaemic stroke)
  • It has been less than 36 hours since your stroke symptoms started
  • You cannot stand or walk without help
  • Your doctor has ruled out bleeding in the brain with a CT or MRI scan
  • You do not have any medical reason preventing use of the device (like nerve stimulation or leg compression issues)
