New device and electrical stimulation for leg recovery after stroke

Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 70 years old.
  • You had a stroke (either from a clot or a bleed) that affected your leg movement.
  • You can still move your affected leg a little, like pushing it forward or straightening it.
  • You do not have a pacemaker or metal implants in your leg.
  • You do not have severe memory or thinking problems that would make it hard to follow instructions.
  • You do not have serious health issues like severe arthritis, liver or kidney disease, or unstable heart conditions.
