  • You have high lipoprotein(a) levels (90 mg/dL or more).
  • You are willing to follow a doctor-recommended diet during the study.
  • You are not pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • You do not have known heart disease, bleeding disorders, or serious liver, kidney, or thyroid problems.
  • You have not had major weight changes, donated blood recently, or used alcohol or drugs heavily in the past 6 months.
