Who can take part
- You have type 2 diabetes and are between 18 and 70 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
- Your blood sugar has been poorly controlled on stable diabetes medications (not including certain newer drugs) for at least 8 weeks, with an A1c between 7% and 10%.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 24 or higher.
