Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for surgery to remove oral cancer that is stage T1, T2, or T3.
  • Your cancer type is squamous cell carcinoma (a common form of oral cancer).
  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your cancer is visible on ultrasound.
  • You have not had radiation therapy for oral cancer before.
  • You can understand verbal or written information about the study.
