Who can take part
- You have a tumor in the mouth or throat area (non-cancer or cancer), such as the tongue, tonsils, palate, or voice box areas
- Your doctors think they can reach the needed area through the mouth for the robot instruments
- You are able to have (or be evaluated for) general anesthesia, unless your care team says it’s not safe
- You can provide informed consent (or an approved consent waiver is possible)
- You do not have a currently untreated active infection or unexplained fever
- You are not pregnant
