  • Age 45 to 65 years
  • On a breathing machine for at least 24 hours with low oxygen levels
  • Able to start some breaths on your own (GCS between 6 and 12)
  • Body mass index (BMI) between 25 and 30
  • No chest injuries, pacemaker, or uncontrolled heart issues
