Who can take part

  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be on a breathing machine because of respiratory failure for at least 24 hours.
  • You must be awake, cooperative, and able to actively participate in training.
  • Your vital signs (like blood pressure and oxygen levels) must be stable.
  • You must have signs that you are ready to start weaning off the breathing machine.
