Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • Your kidney function is moderately reduced (measured by a blood test called eGFR between 20 and 90).
  • You have protein in your urine (urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio above 30 and below 3500 mg/g).
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is above 21 (weight in kg divided by height in meters squared).
  • Your kidney function has been stable for the past 3 months (no big drops).
  • You are already taking a stable dose of blood pressure medicines called ACE inhibitors or ARBs for at least 4 weeks.
