Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) for at least 3 months.
  • You have tried corticosteroids (like prednisone) before, and they stopped working, didn't work, you had a relapse, or you couldn't tolerate them.
  • Your platelet count is below 30 per nanoliter, and your doctor thinks you need treatment.
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you agree to use birth control for 12 weeks after the last dose.
