Who can take part

  • You are 10 to 18 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and are scheduled for spinal fusion surgery
  • You have no history of neurological disorders
  • You and your parents can read and understand French and sign a consent form
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking psychotropic drugs
  • You have no metal implants or other MRI contraindications
