Who can take part

  • You must be 18 or older.
  • You must have a condition called MGUS — that means you have slightly higher levels of certain proteins (IgG or IgA) in your blood.
  • If you can become pregnant, you must agree to use birth control during the study. Men must also use protection.
  • You must not have taken any antibiotics in the 2 weeks before starting.
  • You must not be pregnant, allergic to rifaximin, or receiving other experimental treatments.
