Who can take part

  • You have been receiving immunoglobulin (Ig) therapy for at least 6 months to prevent bacterial infections due to low antibody levels.
  • Your doctor has agreed that you are a good candidate to try stopping Ig therapy.
  • You are willing to take one of the study treatments, including possibly switching to preventive antibiotics.
  • You have not had a stem cell transplant, and you do not have a major infection in the last 3 months or an active infection now.
  • You are not already taking daily antibiotics to prevent bacterial infections (other than for certain specific infections).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you have not had your spleen removed.
