Who can take part
- You are 80 or older, or between 65 and 79 and not healthy enough for standard chemo
- You have a type of large B-cell lymphoma that hasn't been treated yet (except very rare types)
- Your lymphoma can be seen on scans and is at stage I (bulky) to stage IV
- You are well enough to be up and about at least half the day (ECOG 0 to 2)
- Your heart, liver, kidneys, and bone marrow are working well enough
