Who can take part
- You are 70 years or older and have been diagnosed with a type of lymphoma called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
- You have not had previous treatment for this lymphoma.
- You have active disease that can be seen on a PET or CT scan.
- You are able to do most daily activities on your own (ECOG score 0-2) or need some help (Karnofsky score 50 or higher).
- Your heart pumps blood well (ejection fraction 50% or higher).
- You do not have any major health problems like serious heart, lung, or liver disease, or active infections.
