Who can take part
- You have advanced solid tumors in your chest or abdomen that have grown despite standard therapy and cannot be surgically removed.
- Your tumor is measurable on a scan and you have confirmed progression after your last cancer treatment.
- You are at least 18 years old, have a life expectancy of 90 days or more, and can do daily activities with little help.
- You have no metal or electronic implants in your body, including pacemakers, and your rib cage measures 90 cm or less.
- You have not had chemotherapy or radiation in the last 14 days, or immunotherapy or trial drugs in the last 21 days, and side effects from earlier treatments have resolved.
- You can lie flat with your arms above your head for the procedure.
