Who can take part
- You are between 40 and 65 years old
- You have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in the shoulder's main joint (glenohumeral joint)
- You are in generally good health (no major medical problems that would make surgery risky)
- You do not have a full-thickness rotator cuff tear (a complete rip in the muscles/tendons around the shoulder)
- You are not a workers' compensation case and you do not use narcotics regularly or have a history of drug/alcohol abuse
